This Upcoming Sunday, we are starting our first ever Summer Reading Series. As we enter into the summer months, many will be traveling. The Summer Reading Series is intended to be a way for you to participate in a church-wide study even when you are unable to be present at church each week.

The book I have chosen for this year's Summer Reading Series is Be the Switch by Jonathon Pearson. If you want to purchase the book, you may click the link below. It is an inexpensive book (especially if you buy the Kindle edition) and an easy read. In this book, Pearson develops the idea of living your calling while you are living your life.

Every single one of us was created by God for a purpose. Every day many struggle with the question, "How can God use me?" We all have a calling. We are all part of the mission. During the months of June and July, we will be looking at what it means to have an impact right where you are in life. Not all of us are called to vocational ministry but all of us are called. With this sermon series, we will be making available online spiritual gift inventories and training to help you develop your calling.

Be the Switch. Be the person God called you to be right where you are. We will have a limited number of books in the church office for purchase, available first come first serve. You may order directly from Amazon by clicking the link below. Having the book isn't required as each weekly sermon will cover material for the book. But if you have the book, even if you can't attend church that week due to travel, you will be able to stay current with the sermon series.
